JU YEON PARK’S NOMINATION IN THE NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR THE UNIFICATION OF THE TWO KOREAS

The senior associate was appointed a member of the National Unification Advisory Council for the unification of the two Koreas; the Council consists of more than 100 members who are located in different parts of the world. The members were selected among Korean nationals abroad who have gained recognition for professional and other activities undertaken in the host country.

Ju Yeon Park has accepted this important and prestigious post as an Adviser of the National Unification Advisory Council for the duration of two years. The aim of the Council is to provide advisory support to bodies of the government also though the proposals drafting for the purpose of the unification of the two countries that together make up the Korean peninsula.

The ceremony of inauguration was held at the personal residence of the Consul General of Milan. By the virtue of powers conferred upon him by the President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae In, he appointed senior associate lawyer Ju Yeon Park, along with another 5 members, Counselor of the National Unification Advisory Council. Right after the inauguration the senior associate attended the first meeting of the Council which took place on 18^th of September in Paris.
