LGV IN NEW YORK FOR INTERNATIONAL LEGAL ALLIANCE SUMMIT & AWARDS 2016

On 16 June, LGV founder and partner Mr. Luigi Goglia will participate at the ninth edition of the International Legal Alliance Summit & Awards to be held in New York, an event that will involve more than 450 professionals specialized in the IP field.


 

At Crowne Plaza in Times Square, Mr. Luigi Goglia, founding partner of the law firm LGV, will take part in a series of meetings with some of the most important General Counsel, IP Counsel and Managing Partners from more than 40 countries worldwide.

Mr. Goglia, who recently participated at the international meeting INTA 2016 in Orlando, Florida, will once again have the opportunity to share his point of view on the most current topics in the field of intellectual property law, taking advantage of this important occasion to further expand his vast network of international connections.

Il prossimo 16 giugno il name partner Luigi Goglia parteciperà alla nona edizione dell’International Legal Alliance Summit & Award che si terrà a New York e che coinvolgerà più di 450 professionisti del settore IP.


 

Nella cornice del Crowne Plaza a Time Square Luigi Goglia, socio fondatore dello Studio LGV, prenderà parte ad una serie di incontri con alcuni dei più importanti General Counsel, IP Counsel e Managing Partners provenienti da più di 40 Paesi nel mondo.

Luigi Goglia, che ha da poco partecipato al meeting internazionale INTA 2016 svoltosi ad Orlando, avrà ancora una volta l’occasione di condividere il suo punto di vista sulle più attuali tematiche in materia di diritto industriale, sfruttando quest’importante occasione per ampliare il proprio già vasto network di conoscenze a livello internazionale.


PARTICIPATION AT THE DEUTSCHER ANWALTSTAG 2016

As in previous years, Mr. Tankred Thiem, head of LGV’s German department and member of the board of DAV Italia, participated at the Deutscher Anwaltstag in Berlin, Germany.


 

The principal event of the Association of German Attorneys (Deutscher Anwaltsverein – DAV) was held over the course of three days and was inaugurated by the German Justice Minister Mr. Heiko Maas. With over 67.000 members, DAV is the largest lawyer association in the World. It is structured in local and regional organizations and currently comprises 14 foreign organizations including DAV Italia. The conference was structured in seminars and working groups addressing all fields of law, and has been closely scrutinized by German media and political representatives alike. It functions both as a primary platform to maintain and strengthen networking capabilities as well as to gain expert insight in the latest developments in each particular legal branch.
Mr. Tankred Thiem – who is admitted to both the German and Italian Bar – has been a board member of DAV Italia since 2007. DAV Italia was founded in 2006. The activities within the Association of German Attorneys is but one aspect of the long-lasting and wide spread German-Italian relationship, a context within which LGV, over the years, has established significant and highly productive ties with important German law firms and multinational companies.


PARTECIPAZIONE AL DEUTSCHER ANWALTSTAG 2016

Come negli anni passati, Tankred Thiem, capo del dipartimento tedesco di LGV e membro del consiglio di DAV Italia, ha partecipato al Deutscher Anwaltstag a Berlino, Germania.


 

L’evento più importante organizzato dall’Associazione degli Avvocati tedeschi (Deutscher Anwaltsverein – DAV) si è svolto nel corso di tre giornate ed è stato inaugurato dal ministro della Giustizia tedesco Mr. Heiko Maas. Con più di 67.000 membri, DAV è la più grande associazione di avvocati nel mondo. Essa è strutturata in organizzazioni locali e regionali e comprende attualmente 14 organizzazioni straniere tra cui DAV Italia. Il convegno è stato strutturato in seminari e gruppi di lavoro che affrontano tutti i campi del diritto, ed è stato attentamente analizzato dai media tedeschi e dai rappresentanti politici. Funziona come piattaforma primaria per mantenere e rafforzare le capacità di networking nonché per apprendere gli ultimi sviluppi in ogni settore di specializzazione legale.

Tankred Thiem – che ha conseguito l’abilitazione sia in Italia che in Germania – è membro del consiglio di DAV Italia  sin dal 2007. DAV Italia è stata fondata nel 2006. Le attività svolte all’interno dell’Associazione degli Avvocati tedeschi non sono che un aspetto del durevole e ampio rapporto italo-tedesco, un contesto all’interno del quale LGV, nel corso degli anni, ha stabilito legami significativi e altamente produttivi con importanti studi legali tedeschi e aziende multinazionali.


LGV IN VISITA A SEOUL DALL’11 AL 18 GIUGNO 2016

La senior associate Ju Yeon Park e l’associate Alessandro Sassone, in rappresentanza di LGV, saranno a Seoul dall’11 al 18 giugno allo scopo di estendere il network e consolidare la propria presenza nel mercato coreano.


 

Tale viaggio di rappresentanza si innesta nell’ambito di un ormai decennale processo di cooperazione tra LGV e le realtà coreane. Infatti LGV nel corso degli anni ha stretto considerevoli e proficue alleanze con importanti società multinazionali e studi legali locali, grazie soprattutto all’attività della senior associate Ju Yeon Park, bilingue italiano coreano, che ha interamente svolto il suo processo di studi e formazione in Italia ed è abilitata all’esercizio della professione in Italia.
