09/09/2019

On September 11, at 2.30 p.m., at the iCavour Congress Centre in Rome, Mr. Alessandro Bura will take part as a speaker in a meeting organized by AESVI, the Italian videogame developers’ association, on the recent regulation issued by AGCOM concerning the classification of videogames.

The Regulation, approved by the AGCOM Council in March, to be considered in force from the day on which the complementary Guidelines were approved (July 18, 2019), introduces the obligation to classify video games (and audiovisual works intended for the web) intended for the Italian market, in order to protect minors.

The meeting, meant for an audience of professionals in the sector, is aimed at clarifying important aspects of the implementation of the Regulation, including the identification of video games to which the Regulation applies, the functioning of AGCOM system and the subjects responsible for classification.
