15/11/2019

For the 2019 edition of the “Milano Music Week” exhibition, FIMI organized a full immersion’s afternoon with experts in the legal and content protection sector in the digital age. The Law Firm LGV Avvocati will be represented by its founding Partner Mrs. Simona Lavagnini, leading expert in copyright and new technology law and who has already took part to the previous edition of the exhibitions.

At the present edition of the exhibition, the contribution of Ms. Lavagnini will be addressed to the current issue of unfair competition in the world of music through the social media. Shall it be considered as free interaction or advertising? What are the applicable rules? Due to its practice-oriented approach, the contribution will provide the market’s operators with very useful indications to avoid “getting into trouble” in this ever-changing sector, which today appears to be lacking in systematic regulation.

The workshop will be held on 22 November at 14.00 at the offices of FIMI in Via Leone XIII, 14, Milan.
