SIMONA LAVAGNINI WILL BE A SPEAKER AT THE AIPLA-AIPPI INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR

On June 17, 2016, the name partner of LGV, Ms. Simona Lavagnini, will be speaking at an international seminar “New Trends in IP Legislation and Legal Procedures: a Comparison between US and Europe”, that has been jointly organized by the European Practice Committee of AIPLA (American Intellectual Property Law Association), the Order of Industrial Property Consultants, the Italian group AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property) and AICIPI (Italian Association of Consultants and Experts in Industrial Property of Entities and Companies).
The seminar will focus on an analysis of the latest US legislation and case law concerning trademarks and patents, specifically with reference to patentability of software, means-plus-function claim interpretation, trade secrets, designs and trademarks. Ms. Simona Lavagnini will be speaking about trademarks, analyzing recent developments in case law on matters of current interest and offering a comparison between the US and European jurisdictions.
