LUIGI GOGLIA PARTICIPATES IN THE AIPPI WORLD CONGRESS IN MEXICO

Also this year LGV, represented by Luigi Goglia, will be present at the 2018 AIPPI World Congress, which will take place in Cancun, Mexico, from 23 to 26 of September 2018.

 

The International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, known as AIPPI, is the world’s leading international organization dedicated to the development and improvement of legal regimes for the protection of intellectual property. The members of AIPPI include lawyers, patent attorneys, patent agents and trademark agents, as well as judges, scientists and engineers.

This year the World Congress will take place in Cancun, Mexico from 23 to 26 of September 2018. Luigi Goglia, partner of LGV Avvocati and active member of AIPPI, will attend the event in order to make a contribution to the development of intellectual property protection at the international and national levels.

 


SIMONA LAVAGNINI AT THE EVENT ON “ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND LAW”

On June 25, 2018, the partner of LGV Avvocati Simona Lavagnini took part in the event organized by AIPPI – International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, in collaboration with the Foundation for Forensic Training of the Bar Association of Florence.

 

The event was held in Sala Incontri Banca CR in Firenze and was attended by numerous speakers, specialized in different professional areas, who offered the public present in the room their own perspective on the relationship between Artificial Intelligence, on the one hand, and law, ethics, personal data protection, on the other. In particular, Simona Lavagnini, Vice Secretary of AIPPI and founding partner of LGV Avvocati, spoke on “Artificial Intelligence and Intellectual Property”.

 


LGV IN NEW YORK FOR ILASA

Also this year LGV, represented by Margherita Stucchi, will be present at the International Legal Alliance Summit & Awards which will be held in New York on June 28, 2018.

 

The Leaders League event, now in its eleventh year, will bring together over 450 senior representatives from leading law firms as well as in-house lawyers from multinational companies from over 40 countries to discuss current key issues, including GDPR, cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence and brand protection in the digital age.

 


LGV IN SEATTLE

Also, this year LGV, represented by the lawyers Mr. Thiem and Ms. Lavagnini, will participate to the INTA meeting, at the 140th edition of the most important event dedicated to trademarks.

 

LGV members will be at the annual Convention dedicated to trademarks and organized by INTA (the International Trademark Association). The event will be held in Seattle, Washington from the 19 to the 13 of May 2018 at the Washington State Convention Center. Ms. Lavagnini, as the member of the International Technology Law Association, participated also in the annual meeting of association under the title “2018 World Technology Law Conference” which took place also in Seattle.

 


LUIGI GOGLIA WINS “BEST PRACTICE” AWARD FOR TRADEMARKS AND PATENTS

On 14th of May 2018 in the Spirit de Milan took place the Legalcommunity IP & TMT Awards event where the LGV Avvocati partner Luigi Goglia won the “BEST PRATICE” award in the trademarks and patents category.

 

The Legalcommunity IP & TMT Awards, the event which aims to highlight the excellence of the legal market in the field of intellectual property protection, telecommunications and media, took place on May 14, 2018 at the Spirit de Milan. During the event, the LGV Avvocati partner, Luigi Goglia has received the “BEST PRACTICE” award for trademarks and patents category – the award which acknowledges the pre-eminence and expertness in the field. Luigi Goglia has been recognized as being outstanding professional with exceptional technical competence and constant commitment both in court and out-of-court consultancy.
